We are very grateful for the Early Steps program, the positive impact it has had and experienced physical therapist, Jordana Faine Siadman. Layla Jean was born on September 28, 2014, at only 29 weeks gestation. During her 94 day NICU stay she endured countless medical procedures. The worries did not end at discharge.
During the first consultation with Early Steps, the physician was uncertain as to whether Layla would be sitting up by one year due to her prematurity and medical setbacks.
Layla’s weekly in-home physical therapy sessions have been extremely beneficial. Over the past six months, we have seen tremendous progress in her physical, mental and emotional development. With the help of her physical therapist, Layla has been sitting up for several months, and now at age one, she is crawling, standing and cruising the furniture.
